Our Story
Our CEO and Founder, Ploy Intawong, wanted to find a fair and transparent way to hire temporary part-time dental care professionals. Ploy has worked in the dental sector since 2007 and is currently a final year dental student at King's College London.
She was inspired to launch SUPLYE when she experienced, first hand, the lack of autonomy over which practices she wanted to work in and the administrative inefficiencies associated with being registered with a traditional agency. She felt that the traditional methods of hiring locum staff was ineffective and backwards; locum staff had no say in where they wanted to work often having to travel hours across London, being paid below average wage and not be able to prepare beforehand, for the different intricacies within a dental practice.
Talking to a number of practice principles and managers, she found that many dental practices are charged premium prices without the tailored service of knowing; who the dental professional is, the skills, experience, interests and specialism of the dental professional or exactly the time that the professionl would arrive.
SUPLYE, a web-based mobile and desktop platform, works to deliver a tailored service to both dental practices and dental professionals, at a reduced premiums to dental practices while also offering dental professionals autonomy and a fair rate. The platform is a market place for dental practices and dental professions that provide both parties with tailored options based on their requirements. From these options, each party can then select and confirm the employment.
